New Horses Nassau: 6 New Beauties Join Our Ranch Family
New horses Nassau is the big news around here, and we couldn’t be more excited. On June 16th, 2025, six stunning horses arrived to join our growing herd at Ranch Resort | Sport & Spa.
This all started with a dream. A dream to have horses in our life, and the desire to share that with the world. That dream brought us here to Nassau, where the herd just got stronger, more colorful, and even more ready to ride.
How Our New Horses Came to Nassau
Back in January 2024, we brought in our first seven horses. Four came from Canada, and three from Florida. That first group included a Gipsy, an Appaloosa, a Thoroughbred, and several Quarter Horses. They helped us launch the horseback riding experience we had always envisioned.
By April 2025, we knew it was time to grow again. We started searching for the right additions — horses that were young, healthy, calm on the trail, and each with a distinct look. Coat color might seem like a small thing, but it’s often the first thing guests notice. We wanted variety.
A VIP Flight to the Bahamas
These six new horses traveled in comfort. They flew in on a private cargo flight from Miami to Nassau. We’ve done this once before, and it still feels surreal.
This time was different, though. We didn’t meet the horses beforehand. Our trusted coach was our eyes on the ground, selecting each one for us. Watching them step off the trailer in person for the first time was emotional. We felt proud, grateful, and even more certain that we made the right choice.
A Warm Welcome from the Herd
The moment they arrived, the entire herd at the ranch came alive. The older horses started calling out and gathered near the fences, eager to meet their new friends. It was loud, curious, and beautiful.
We gave the new horses fresh water, plenty of hay, and a quiet night to rest in their stalls. They adjusted quickly and handled the transition better than we could’ve hoped.
Already on the Trail
Within two weeks, some of our new horses in Nassau were already out riding with guests. Confident, gentle, and grounded. It felt like they had always been here.
This new group includes a few Paints, a Canadian horse, a Thoroughbred-Clydesdale cross, and several Quarter Horses. Each one with a different look and personality, but all fitting in as they belonged.
More Than Just a Ride
This ranch has never just been about horseback riding. It’s about connection, energy, and giving people something real to hold onto. Whether it’s someone’s first time in a saddle or their hundredth, our goal is to make them feel at home.
Every horse here plays a part in that. Every single one has a purpose.
Come meet them. The herd is ready 🙂
